What I offer

I serve my neighborhood of Eastside Lansing, Michigan and areas beyond that are accessible by ebike and public transport with garden consulting, design, coaching and care-full maintenance.

Consultations

• Initial consultation offered at no charge: Up to 1 hour-long onsite visit to tour your property. We will discuss your desires for the space, likes and dislikes, existing issues and opportunities of the site, and where care is needed. A formal write-up is then made with recommendations for what could be done to achieve your goals based on what I offer and other local services I can recommend.
• In-depth consultations are also available, where we will discuss optimal placement and flow of desired elements, plants that could be used and best sites for these, functional elements to add, recommendations for layout and construction to consider, all delivered in a formal write-up afterwards. This is a great place to get you started if you want to design the gardens and landscape yourself, be your own general contractor, and/or DIY the implementation yourself.

Garden care and maintenance

• Garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, deadheading, pruning, planting, dividing, mulching, fertilizing, watering, pest-control, small tree training, hedge trimming, bed edging, smaller shrub removal, and general garden bed maintenance.
• Spring and autumn tidy-ups
• Overgrown garden and path clearing
• Winter shrub and smaller tree trimming
• Garden installations at certain scales

Garden and landscape designs tailored to YOU

• Garden bed and complete landscape designs customized for the site and you and your family, the way you want to use the property and that compliments your home, your values and your lifestyle.
• Detailed plant plannings to help you grow for you and your family’s needs, optimizing space and customized to your aesthetic, dietary and medicinal* needs and preferences.
• Designs and plant plannings available in drawn and/or digital formats.

Coaching

• One-on-one garden coaching throughout the growing season to assist with growing, such as pest/disease control, productivity, succession planting, seeding, planting, division, and training and trellising.
• DIY coach for those taking the design and implementation of the design into your own hands, let me coach you through it! I can help with drawing up plans, sourcing materials, plants, design feedback, and when and who to call when you need an expert.
